  • UQ Art Museum is responsible for the presentation and safekeeping of all the artworks on display
  • Visitors can not touch the artworks, this is to protect the objects from being damaged and also because our fingers have natural oils that can leave harmful prints on artworks
  • Backpacks and large bags are not allowed in the Art Museum and must be left in our cloakroom
  • Food and drink cannot be taken into the Art Museum
  • Photography is not permitted
Disabled access and parking
  • Access to UQ Art Museum is via the automatic front door
  • Internal lift provides access to all levels
  • Disabled parking is available on University Drive Click for map
Places to eat
  • View a range of dining options available on the St Lucia campus here
Parents facilities
  • Baby change station on the lower level of the museum
  • Strollers are permitted in the Art Museum and an internal lift provides access to all levels
  • Strollers can be stored in the cloakroom, behind the information desk
Photography
  • Visitors may not photograph or film within the Art Museum using devices of any kind unless otherwise signed
  • Copyright of artworks is retained by the artist, not the Art Museum
  • Copyright holders may take legal action if artworks are photographed and reproduced without permission
  • To reproduce an artwork on display at UQ Art Museum see the Copyright section in the website
